Five Conditions of Authenticity

Every narration evaluated against the classical five conditions that scholars have applied for over a millennium.

  • Chain continuity اتّصال السند
  • Narrator uprightness عدالة الرواة
  • Narrator precision ضبط الرواة
  • Absence of anomaly عدم الشذوذ
  • Absence of hidden defect عدم العلّة

How do I pray Tahajjud step by step?

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا

Surah Al-Insan 76:26

Tahajjud is prayed after sleeping and waking during the last third of the night. The Prophet ﷺ would pray it in sets of two rak'ahs, then close with one witr. He was consistent in this practice throughout his life.
